Moving icebergs to the Gulf

I remember Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge doing exactly that in a comic in the 80's - taking an ice berg from Antarctica to Africa, I think, by boat. On the way, the cold from the iceberg disrupted the weather systems, resulting in big storms.

Don't icebergs melt naturally as they move anyway ?

You'd need a H8ll of a big fridge.

Of course they do, but an iceberg is a HUGE amount of ice. If it could be towed steadily toward a destination in the golf it would not be unreasonable to suspect that half of it might be remaining when it arrived.
