I think they need to store rice seeds in there. They do ok when submerged.
And maybe water lilies

They need to build a vault elsewhere.

Fortunately, the water hasn’t flooded the vault itself. It only got to the entrance of the tunnel, where it froze.

So it wasn't actually flooded, as such. I'd assume that the doors are waterproof - if not, that would be a priority...
