Well, it does make it interesting. :D We've done it a few times in the past, though, so it all balances out. I guess. I mean, if it didn't, would we know? Hmm...
 
This month it'll be a real challenge. Means I gotta find my thinking cap and dust it off a bit.
 
I tried to write a story but my computer wouldn't start. When it did, I discovered I had a virus. So I ran my anti-virus, but it was out of date, so I had to pay a renewal fee. Turns out my credit card was hacked, so I had to call the bank to cancel it, and have a new one issued. Once I did that, I payed for the anti-virus, ran it, and everything was great! Virus was gone! Because it had wiped my hard-drive. So I had to re-install Windows. I don't think I have to tell anyone what a pain that is. But I got it done, and I opened up my word processor, and I started typing...

...and my keyboard exploded. So I gave up. You win, Murphy's Law!

Sorry to hear the terrible trouble you had. I thought you were joking at first. But it's nice to know that you still have a sense of humor about the ordeal.
 
I'm not sure if I fulfilled the theme properly, but I tried to go for something humorous this month. My sense of humour isn't like most people's.
 
Six submitted so far and three of them involve cats. Methinks some 'old school' long term Chronners are playing a second and secret challenge inside this one :D
 
Have never indulged before, but I have a strange penchant to try my luck on this occasion.

Perhaps its a kitty thing!
