I like collected weird looking dolls, so I decided to write a dolly story. I hope it's not too derivative.

@Ashleyne .... reminds us that most people would rather deal with the horror they know, then the horror that might be. Therefore the cry "I Love My Dolly."

I was going to sit and cogitate. Let the idea perambulate through my subsconscious.

Then thought, maybe not, maybe someone else may have that idea and I'd then be up a smelly creek without a proverbial paddle.

So I posted. It's not fantasy or sci-fi but I hope it's horrible enough.

Heh heh. I really enjoyed writing that one. Coincidently, I was thinking about re-posting that story if I couldn't think of something. But, fate struck me like a fish-slap, and the muse crawled up my arm and bit me on the neck.

You know, you may want to spray for muses, and get that bite checked out. Muses can be pretty filthy creatures...

BEWARE the muses. Sure, they are cute and give good ideas for stories, but they also eat all of your crisps, carry illnesses, and strike without warning at all hours of the night.

...although, for once, it would be nice to be able to write the story during the afternoon, not (as usually is the case) last thing at night....
