A place to discuss this prolific author (1905-1983) of novels, autobiography, history of science, parapsychological studies, etc.

I've not read much by him -- Darkness at Noon and The Roots of Coincidence are about all, and neither of those recently; but I thought he might be worth a look. I gather that The Sleepwalkers is well regarded by some Chronsfolk.

How about you? Read anything, like anything, deplore anything by this author?

I read Darkness at Noon at school, sort of in the discussion as Nineteen Eighty Four and The Aerodrome. I dont remember that much about it.

The Case of the Midwife Toad is a good book about scientific fraud.

If I recall, Koestler and his wife died in a suicide pact.
