That Guardian article brought home to me how may other people we have lost recently. It is probably just a result of my own age, but very recently I have have begun to feel a change - it is no longer the "old" people from my parent's and grandparent's generations who are dying, but it is now people who I knew from my childhood, or even people who are my own age.

I remember her, as soon as the article mentioned her screaming, especially when she was slung over the shoulder of a Yeti. They looked different to the 'modern' image of Yeti's.
Another companion gone, sad news.
