Gurren Lagann

Loved it so much. Definitely one of my favourites too. I love the escalation in the show, and some ideas for my own stories are derived from it.
 
It was one of the most emotionally powerful animes for me, right with Evangelion and Parasyte.
 
I 1st saw this on DVD from NF. Not too long ago, started watching it via streaming; cannot recall the source, but one episode had been all but replaced by clips from others! The missing ep was a fan-service hot springs type, complete with brief female nudity. Do not know why they did that, except, perhaps this may have been adapted for US TV, such as CN.

I did enjoy the series the 1st time, but felt ripped-off when realizing the cuts in the streaming version.

Such an odd show but they own it and it makes it so unique! they also deal with tragedy in a very real way and the journey to pick yourself up from the ground

JUST WHO IN THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM!!!!!
