I heard that DC was going to be making a Lobo movie. I decided to read up on Lobo a little bit(with the help of Wikipedia), and he reminded me of a DC version of either Wolverines, Deadpool, or both!

So I ask you; How is this movie not a thing yet?
 
Lobo was one of the few DC characters I really enjoyed. The old one, not the new emo-angst Lobo.

The idea has been kicked around a few times. At one point Andrew Bryniarski really wanted the part (and might have done a decent job). He even played Lobo once:
