Season finale of Killjoys went out with a bang. All those episodes leading up to this point, hinting at what was to come at last paid off with some epic scenes and great reveals.

So many of the Nine wiped out in the blink of an eye, a coup well played. Really interested to see how the consequences of her actions play out next season. The rebellion is only just getting started, and after bombing Westerly it's people will be more determined than ever to overthrow Qresh.

So looks like Red-17 turns out to be how the RAC turns their agents into Level 6, and that they had originally planned to do that to Dutch, only Khylen took some initiative and put D'Avin through the process instead. Physically, they are stronger, and appear to be able to withstand a lot of pain, if not feel it at all, but at least we know they can still be shot and killed, as we see John kill the Level 6 guy that was attacking Dutch at the Nine meeting.

Loved the look of Arkyn. Can't wait to see more of it in season 2.

With a cliffhanger finale like this they really do need to give us a second season. Come on SyFy!

What you said! Come on, SyFy! Give us at least another season or two!

Yes! The show must go on! Let's just forget about that other great show that was prematurely killed by Fox. Denial, denial, denial.

If Killjoys has been or will be canceled, Syfy didn't tell the producers before this episode was completed. Everything about the season finale (which is what they're calling it) – Delle's eight-family coup, D'Avin's forced conversion to Level 6, the Red 17 facility on the mysterious Arkyn, the company carpet-bombing of Old Town -- screams for continuation.

John put the Level 6 agent bent on killing Dutch down, and Dutch added a few more “stay down” insurance shots into him, but did they kill him? Khlyen took a couple of knife thrusts to the gut at the hands of Dutch and just walked away. Can a Level 6 agent be killed? How about if they're beheaded? Worked in Highlander.

Don't forget:

The doctor (from one of the 9 families - the Simms) is still alive. Which means Delle didn't get to everyone. Wonder if the doctor will take on her family's mantle and thwart Delle's plan for domination.

Again - this depends so much on whether SyFy will give us another season.

Excellent point.
Other members of the 9 families must have been off-world, especially on Leith, or out of the weapon's range when it was used. Delle probably just took out the top members of each rival family. She's got more work to do. The bunkers of Westerley may be the safest place for Illenore to stay during season 2. (Notice the optimism I built into that last sentence?):)

Good call, I hadn't caught that.

That was a very satisfying season ending - it answered all the questions and provided new ones. So, if it hadn't been renewed it wouldn't have left unanswered questions (I hate those cancelled shows and there have been so many  ) but if it was renewed (which it was) there was plenty of new story to unfold (y)

That's one of the good things about Killjoys. Every season gets better than previous one. We have a Season 5 confirmed, but who knows if the producers can keep us hanged like this on the show ? Personnaly, I will not complain if they announce S6 right away. :)
