I find your lack of loyalty disturbing
The plot is getting almost Game of Thrones complicated -- and that's a good thing.
The most surprising development for me was that Aneela is only being made to think she is the Hullen supreme commander. The real powers behind the deception are holding her captive, trying to harness her freakish abilities without making her angry. Oops!
I hope that Gander was as lifeless as he looked when Aneela finally let him drop.

They are playing war games, so plot should get a little complicated.

Gander is kinda an annoying guy, so I hope he's really dead this time. I'm not so sure he is right about Aneela. She has some special powers and she is smart. Not the kinda girl you wanna mess about.

She is also bonkers. I'm not sure you can use someone like that. You can't have a rational conversation, and so trying to get them to do something would be like herding cats. Some large countries have this problem with their Presidents too.

Aren't Da'vins powers exactly the same? Yet, he isn't being held prisoner to "harness his freakish abilities."

I also thought that Johnny talked down Louelle rather easily. I mean it took him a long time, but only because he wasn't using the right tactics for most of that time. When he talked about Pawter then it didn't take long at all.

Are you sure you can say that in here ?:LOL:

Khylen kept her prisoner for a long time to protect her from the Lady. Aneela admitted that period was really difficult for her. She was too young when she was infected. While she survived the physical transformation and gained the strength and regeneration abilities, she became insane.

D'avin's body rejected the green plasma, so he never became a Hulllen. Still strange what he can do and remain human.

As Johnny says from time to time, he is multi-tasking.
