Youpi ! It's confirmed. We will have another two seasons. I just watched the finale from S3 and told to myself that this could not be really the end. Not like this anyway. Champagne anyone ? :D

Killjoys Season 4 Confirmed; Season 5 Will Be Its Last

'Killjoys' Renewed for Final Two Seasons at Syfy

PARTY TIME! (y)

Great finale; but I thought that, after an entire season of hate and death talk from both Dutch and Aneela, that the two of them so quickly uniting to enter the green goo and undo "The Lady" was a tad unbelievable. Adding "Dad" to the mix, giving each of his girls a magic dagger, bordered on corny.
Has season four started yet?

I wish, but not yet !

Not so much after Dutch gave her memories to Aneela. Strange relation though: sisters or clones ? Even more strange for me as while I hated their *Dad* in previous seasons, no I'm glad he is back in the fight against the Lady.

I got a little lost. As I said last episode, I couldn't believe Aneela took Yala's place and acted out the part of her. She doesn't know Yala well enough and her acting skills have been exceptionally well hidden as she goes about everyday life with one dimension; all evil! John would have spotted this much earlier, and so would everyone else. I also didn't understand forcing out 'The Lady' (but can't help thinking Little Britain) by climbing in the green goo (what is she doing in Aneela's bath anyway) or the 'spiders from memoirs.' It all became too fantasy for me. And what happened with Seph?

Just caught up with seasons 2 and 3 - love this show!!

This last episode was a little unrealistic and felt like it was trying to cram all the loose ends into this last hour in a rush. Maybe they had been warned the series may not be renewed so were trying to tie everything up (but then leave it wide open at the end...?? hmmm maybe not!)

I felt John did know it wasn't Dutch quite soon. He seemed reluctant to give her the dagger thing (although did in the end) and he asked questions I doubt he would have if it were Dutch.

I think that they need to draw out The Lady as now Aneela remembers about Dutch, TL will not leave her alone until she knows how Aneela brought Dutch back through the goop, so it won't be safe for anyone. I'm assuming that TL can control anyone under the influence of the Green.

What's the betting that The Lady is Aneela's (and therefore Dutch's) mother?

I was quite pleased when Khalen (Daddy) came back into it. I liked him in the end.

I've been thinking about this series since I've finished binging on it, mainly as I'm trying to write a sit-com episode for a writing group challenge, and I love the way that the Big-Bad of series 2 (Khalen) and series 3 (Aneela) have turned out to be allies in the end. I also like all the main characters and I think it's been more successful that other series as it still keeps up the 'fun' side of the story lines. Some other series take themselves way too seriously.

One thing I didn't like about this season though was Dutch's flip between Alvis and Davin! With no apparent reason or build up for either! In the first series I liked that Davin and Dutch were going to get together and the whole 'brain switch' thing of Davin's worked well and I understand they didn't try again but then Alvis came out of no-where and then disappeared again, and she ended up shagging Davin!! That irked me somewhat.

And, while I'm in mini rant mode, why did Aneela kill Alvis?? She didn't know who he was (or so she told Dutch) so just a random act that happened to allow Dutch to be with Davin unimpeded?? Was he guarding the lift thing? If so, why did he expect Dutch to go to him? IIRC the RAC and co weren't guarding the lift/going to use it in the battle, so it would have been weird for him to be there at such an important time. That confused me too. Seemed like he was killed off 'just because'.

EDIT: And Zeph? She was on board Lucy wasn't she, with Pippin, and I think emotions just kind of overwhelmed them.....

Having just read all the posts on season 3, I think I understand you confusion now. Are you thinking that Aneela has been Dutch for a while? I watched all episodes back to back so could be wrong but I think she only 'became' Dutch in the last episode after they take the real Dutch to Delle Sayer's ship. So, she (Aneela) was only pretending for a little while - with John on Lucy, with the brain dagger, and then *sob* with Alvis.

When Aneela killed Alvis, she was still in war mode against Dutch, just before she had the confirmation her Hullen soldiers kiddnapped Dutch.

But when Dutch asked her why she killed Alvis, she didn't know who he was! So it wasn't a personal attack to hurt and isolate Dutch. Either she was lying or he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and it was coincidence. And if it were the latter, then I struggle with why he was in that place.

She lied. I had the impression that was a revenge from the Lady. Something related to the monk who died in a cave in a previous episode.

He was there to prepare himself for the reckoning ceremony.

I like Alvis, too. On the other hand, Dutch has only D'avin, so I will not complain. Not sure for how long, once he will have his baby born.

I wasn't a fan of the Alvis/Dutch story line to begin with as felt she should be with Davin, but then it seemed Davin was going to get a love interest in Sabine (that worked out well, didn't it!?), so I was ok with it in the end. Then after a couple of episodes it was gone and the 'her and Davin' vibes were back! Didn't like that! They could have made more of it - but I suppose it wasn't the main story line so no point. As I said up-post, Alvis's death was convenient and totally clears the way for Davin.

I think the baby will definitely have an effect on their relationship but I doubt it'll be in the conventional sense, as in him getting with the mother, as both mothers (surrogate and DNA) are together and will probably stay together.

Funny thing. I've just found out that the actor playing Alvis, Morgan Kelly was born in Montreal. :)

D'avin is only interested in the baby, not the mother. He was funny when he kept asking her about the sex and possible names.:D

I watched this episode again this evening, as I forgot details. Aneela definetely killed Alvis on purpose. Alvis considered her the devil and his monks religion was all about fighting against Hullens and therefore Aneela.

I loved having Khylen back and waiting for both Annela and Dutch into the green. This fight against the Lady should be very interesting.

That was not an ordinary bath. Once in contact with the green plasma, Hullen can communicate between them and access into the memories stored in there. Khylen prefered to used it as a fountain pool, but Annela prefered a bath instead.

You already received the answer about Seph. The last time we saw her in this episode, she was kissing Pippin. :D
