The Best Episode of This Season. The Fear of The Walking Dead has outdone itself and stepped out into the bigger world, with Alicia gone in the wind and Nick getting his nogging absolutely blasted with anything and everything he can snort, eat, drink, smoke or inject. Gone are the days when you could think that they were all blowing in same coal. Ain't going to happen.
To be honest, it was quite bold for new heroine to say that everything's picked clean between here and the cabin, when they are surrounded with all sort of stuff. Alicia didn't look in every cupboard, she didn't even check the establishment for the lurkers. But then again Nick weren't much better.
He left Ofelia to suffer in the necromorphosis without putting her down or making sure she was handed back to Madison before he went off and got Troy mixed up with the bad stuff. While he can take some chemicals and survive the trip Troy is first timer. Pumped full of pure adrenaline and standing in the middle of small horde must have got his heart racing in full steam.
But think about the bad stuff. What if one of those organs, if not all of them has the virus that makes them go through necromorphosis which end result is type one infected? That's one trip neither Nick or Troy want to go down, but essentially it might happen. The only blessing is that they're together because they need each other. More so than Alicia needs the new girl.
I loved her entrance and they way she handled the dead with her pickaxe. What a cool woman. The only thing I found iffy was her collection of fingers and teeth. Then again who am I to say what works in the Kirkman's world when all sorts of supernatural events has happened at the US border.
The Trading Post with all of its corruption makes sense. It is believable and that place most probably stand far longer than the dam. I only wish Madison can forgive Victor for selling that place out. If it's not that then Ranches location might have made him a rich man, because all that food on the shelf is there waiting to be cleaned up.
I hope Daniel made better business with his water than Madison, because it would be a waste of valuable resources to exploit the opportunity to utilize the Trading Post to maximum capacity. Those four trucks, if you count in Maddie's one should give people in the post opportunity to survive a large horde without turning it even bigger with all that firing needed to expunge the thread.
Can FTWD keep trodding on this new path and make it all better before Kirkman joins the crew at the next season? I hope so.
Big applause to writers, actors and AMC. Well done. Man that kid zombie trap was awesome.

Yes, those Mad Max style places would almost certainly appear. They would be the safest place from zombies but I'm not sure they would be the safest places. Surely the most wretched hives of scum and villainy this side of Mos Eisley? As we well know, the dangers in this world are from the living, even more than from the dead, and loners do seem to be able to survive.
The zombie child in the ball pool was one of the best/worst set pieces they have done yet.
Once a junkie always a junkie, Nick and Troy bromance is going to be carnage for others.
I had grown to like Ofelia and the scene when Daniel was touching.
I'm with Daniel, I wouldn't trust Strand as far as I could throw him.
I'm intrigued by the new girl and hope she becomes a regular.

The problem with being alone is that you don't have a backup to save you if a lurker catches you. It's better to team up at least with one person, like Nick has done with Troy. Together they have one head, even if it's fuzzy most of the time. I think they're going raid some large drug supply depo at some point - if they manage to stay alive that long.
It was so sad to see him breaking down. Maddie was close to get tabbed, but she was right to order Walker to stay out from it as Daniel went bonkers. I would still like to know what Daniel got with his water!

The stage is set for the big Strand betrayal. Damn him, I was really liking his character.
Madison's character moved on in leaps this episode. I connected with her for the first time and was routing for her.
Daniel delivered again. He is one of the unsung heroes of the series. Underneath the tough exterior and his horrible past there is a honourable man.
Troy loves Nick. Has to be a sitcom somewhere there.

What do you think he is planning?
I think he will be around for some time to come. Walker can be the next victim and live up to his name.

Difficult to get into location as the netting would have prevented them from getting in close contact. Alicia had a problem of escaping the trap when the kid sprung up on her. She was pretty sure they weren't going to fire back if she'd open fire.
I sensed a bit of deja vu when Alycia took cover in the ball pit.
