I'm sad to have just learned that Roy Dotrice has passed away a few days ago.
If anyone has listened to the ASOIAF audiobooks you'll know just how incredibly talented Roy was. If you haven't yet listened to the audiobooks I'd wholeheartedly recommend it, they're wonderful.
Those of us of an older generation will also remember the Beauty and The Beast TV series in the late 80's featuring him with Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman.
Rest in peace Roy, you'll be missed by many.
