Sad News 
It is truly astonishing, and so wonderfully fitting, that a show like Dr Who started in 1963, a time where everything from racism to sexism, things the show from the start was resolutely against was the norm, yet it began, being built from the ground up by Verity Lambert, the first Female Producer in the BBC, and possibly, the UK as a whole, ever to be given a show to run, and likewise, was Directed by one of the only Asian Directors, Waris Hussein working in the British TV Industry, a man who was refused service by the BBC Staff Bar due to his race, and by 1966, Paddy Russel, the first Female Director...
