I think we need a thread about odd supernovae.

Starting with this one - which seems to be either dying in slow-motion, else dying repeatedly: A bizarre supernova keeps exploding over and over again

WARG I was just about to post this. It's very interesting. My title would have been more interesting, though. "Zombie star keeps exploding over and over again, probably getting tired."
