First up is a three part A Christmas Carol Mini-Series by Ridley Scott/Tom Hardy and Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight this is set to premier in 2019

Knight will also be working on a number of other classic Dickens stories over the next few years

Hmmm ... wholly original and visionary takes on the stories sounds a bit ominous.

But if they do a good job, I'll be eagerly waiting until the productions reach the US.
