Barnes & Noble are pushing again on their self-publishing platform with the release of Barnes & Noble Press: NookPress
Here's the press release: Barnes & Noble Announces Barnes & Noble Press™, an Enhanced Self-Publishing Suite to Reach Millions of Barnes & Noble Readers
I presume NookPress will get transferred over - but I hope they've fixed the problem where previewing your text didn't actually show what your text would look like on a Nook, resulting in formatting issues.
Immediate negative: ebook royalties are still lower than Amazon, and paperback prices seem pushed higher;
On the plus side - hardbacks now available.
