It IS a bit of a 'TeeVee' movie... but fairly highBudget with the FX and all. Ridiculous premise but it keeps the interest up and sets up a sequel, rather cheesily, at the end. Particle accelerators can't do anything like this, as attested to by various people who work with them, but apparently if they are BIG enough, and set up in space, they can.
 
It was ok. There were plenty of nods to more celebrated Sc-Fi classics. Chris O Dowd stole the show with some much needed comic relief.
 
I think it's the weakest but was really impressed with the countless links to the other two movies, and other JJ Abrams productions.

It's my opinion that the three films are set on three different Earths. Essentially I think Cloverfield is becoming Fringe on crack.

I'm looking forward to Cloverfield 4. Occult Nazis sounds fun!
