Almost Endless City Part I

Hey, I saw a handsome kitty in one of your pics (on Instagram)! I would have commented anyway, but that sealed the deal. Best of luck with this, Heijan Xavier. The drawings look very interesting - I love the cover. I will check the book out when you publish, CC

A lovely-looking site, Heijan. Hope you get plenty of views.

Meanwhile, have you thought about putting the opening 1000 words up here on Chrons? Have you had beta readers for the whole thing? It’s always a good idea to get some different eyes looking at your work before you dash into print.

Good luck with it!

Any and all feedback is appreciated, from a pat on the back to a kick in the butt.

All in all, a very nice website. Clean, uncluttered (I like clean sites), and very easy to navigate. I like your background choices. I especially love the maps (and the pets).

My one niggle is I'm not hugely fond of your font choices - the larger blocks of text are a little hard to read (they kind of jump out at you), and the menu items look a little lost as they are. Perhaps you could play around with some other font options?

Good luck with it all! :)

Thanks!

I'm definitely not rushing to print. I intend to publish this in about 11 months. Hoping to finish the rough draft this summer.

Have lots of people looking at it from creative writing professors, to sci-fi fans to my high school students to my English teacher colleagues. I don't want a paralysis by analysis situation either though. So what is a good number of beta readers for a short (50-60k word) novel?

And yes, it's time to post the first bit of the story on chrons. The first 3k words or so plus a lot of prologue is on the website too.

Thank you!!!
