I have been trying to think of the name of a book I read a few years back but cannot find anything close to what it is about. The story takes place on a planet that is set in the Middle Ages, the main protagonist is a teenage female who’s father is king of their kingdom. There is a war that takes place in which a “wizard” gave the king a cryo frozen man with a sort of ai device attached to his forehead, to help the king. The new young queen is kidnapped and escapes and eventually has to flee with this man she calls ‘Saber’. In the end, his cybernetic enhancement becomes damaged and falls off and it turns out he was sold to someone from another world and he plans to go back to them.
