Doctor Who: Series 11 Trailer

The BBC's official doctor who twitter account has announced that the first series 11 trailer will air at some point during the BBC's coverage of the World Cup final this Sunday.

The trailer will be posted to the official twitter account after it airs.

I havent watched the last few seasons, but im going to give it a try with the new doctor and showrunner.

I've just started to feel some Doctor withdraws. Night before last I had to go back and rewatch the two part, first appearance of River Song in season (or series) 4. Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead. I rewatched it before but now knowing the whole River story they are even better than the first time.

So, a link for the trailer shown at Comic-Con earlier on this evening. It's not really a spoiler, because it basically just shows the four main cast members, but this trailer actually has footage from the series.

The broad outline from Comic-Con seems to be:
- No need to have watched any of the previous series;
- Predominantly new aliens; and
- The 10 episodes are all stand-alone.
