Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2018 Shortlist....

A friend of mine is into this. He tells me that these photos normally consist of around twenty to thirty exposures combined to give the final image. He usually takes his telescope into the hills, controls it from a laptop and spends a couple of hours gathering the shots. A lot of work but the final results are impressive:)
