This is the 3rd TV show based on the same story. I can't think of another situation like this. There's the original Danish/Swedish version Broen/Bron. Then there was the Mexican/American version, The Bridge. Now there's an English/French copy. The characters in all versions are basically the same. The stories of each are similar but different so you can watch without knowing exactly what will happen. I don't care anymore about the story much. It's solid. Broen/Bron is one of only a handful of subtitled TV shows that I've watched all of. It's the characters and actors I'm most concerned with now. How they portray the characters and how it differs from area to area. How the relationship between each set of countries colors the characters differently. It's unique and has become more interesting the the show itself.
