The new Challenge comes to you from last month's winner, mosaix, and is now up November 2018 -- 85 Word Story Challenge -- READ FIRST POST! REALLY! READ IT!!


And to celebrate and commemorate mosaix's TENTH WIN in the monthly Challenges

we're delighted to announce we're all getting

AN EXTRA TEN WORDS

for the Challenge

Yep, that's right, this is a 85 Word Challenge for this month.

Because we know some people won't read the first post where 85 is written large, and probably won't read this post either, the Challenge thread is locked for a few hours to give the early posters pause. After that, you're on your own!

Make the most of the extra!

So no-one has told you that for every word over 75 in this month's entries, you will be deducted a word until balance is restored to the 75-word universe...?

With, say, 42 entries, each of 85 words, that's 420 too many words...

...which means that, after November, you won't be allowed to post an entry until May 2019, and even then, you'll only have 45 words to play with that month....

Hey, I think there is a typo in here. It is supposed to be a 75 word challenge...;)
 
Does this mean if one of us under-achievers win, we’ll be forced to deduct words from our month’schoice? :D

Anyway, great set of stimuli Mosaix. I knew I voted for the right one. (Also I hate myself, esp as I’m eyeing your fab 300er for one of my votes.)

As a dyscalculic the spring of numbers and horror will be easy. :D

Well, Danny, titles have never counted towards the word cap.


An extra ten words, huh? Well, well...there's a lot that can be said in ten words, it could change the entire outcome of a story. A shame that it's still locked up, the challenge thread...but numbers..

Hmm...let's think about this, indeed...
 
Unremarkably, I don't have an idea and had to look up dyscalculia. Great word by the way.
