Netflix, Amazon and Apple (!) set to do Asimov's Foundation, Fred Phol's Gateway, Niven's Ringworld and Vonnegut's Sirens of Titan …. maybe.... that's quite a line up (there are a bunch of other , more recent, works too). (Clarke's 3001, but that is going to need a lot of fixup because it is not a very good novel.)
We shall see.
I do wish they could consider Poul Anderson's Tau Zero …..or the Technic series with would be a great complement of The Expanse as sophisticated space opera.
Bester's The Stars My Destination still sits fallow.
If done right, and it would take some imagination and cleverness Cordwainer Smith's stories, I could see a show called THE INSTRUMENTALITY. Boy if done right no one would have seen any science fiction like that!!
