Now able to gift Kindle ebooks in the UK

I noticed yesterday that I now have the option to gift Kindle ebooks to other people - a feature that's been part of Amazon.com for US customers for some time, but I hadn't seen it for UK customers on Amazon UK until now.

Is anyone else seeing that? How about non-Prime members?

I've used it to gift a couple of books. I'm not a Prime member. Works ok - a bit clunky. You can send it to an email address (not sure about other platforms) There's a standard message that you can adapt. Quite nice.
