Brothers with powers set in the Blue Ridge Mountains

I read a book when I was a teenager (Late 80's) about brothers (3?) who had powers. They lived in the Blue Ridge Mountains and one scene, in particular, took place on Lookout Mountain (a real location in the BR mountains where you can see 4 states from one place.) One brother's power had to do with Science & he developed a paint that made his car invisible to radar. The book was set in the 80's I think. It was a paperback. I would really love to read it again.
