Looking for a young adult syfi book

When I was probably around 12ish (probably around 2010 or 2011) I read a series of books about a teenage boy trapped on a space station. I think the teens were being used as slave labour by aliens. I know they were being used for some kind of labour. I believe the teens had some kind of powers that made them special in some way. I remember the title being something referencing the station itself. I read it on Google Play or something similar and for the life of my I can't remember the name.

"The City Who Fought," by Anne McCaffrey. Space Station is run by a Brain-- a human otherwise crippled is connected with nerve connections to administer a space station. The station is under attack, and it turns out there's a stowaway on board-- who's been able to tap into the station facilities. This stowaway and others fight the invasion.

That summary was kinda close but I read a sample and that was it. I do appreciate the help though.

Again. The plot is super close but they never were on a planet. It was set solely on the station.
