The Guardian (best new sci fi and fantasy novels)

Nice one, Stephen. You know I really should read get round to reading Beautiful Intelligence; I'm struck by the amount of thematic similarities with my own Man O'War, and having read the review for The Autist even some of the geographic locations are the same. I'm sure the stories are divergent in other respects, but it does strike me as curious that we should both have written about such similar topics at the same time.
