Trying to remember a fantasy book

There was a female Smith (knives). Men were usually the smiths so her work wasn’t well respected even though it was great work. She climbed a sacred hill/mountain she shouldn’t have. Burnt her hand at some point so it was webbed.

I can’t remember the name of the series or the author. Can anyone help me please?
