New Space Suit Fashion Trends Running Late On Delivery

Waiting for the Moon Trip to get back on the road again is bad enough. Now it appears that there is a lack of new space suits on the shelf ready to go. The suits for use on Mars and the Moon will have to be sturdier than the current space station suits, which could be called leisure suits. Both the current US and the Russian suits use 40 year old designs. The working American suits are 40 years old and apparently stored on the space station. Some of the companies that make parts for the suits are no longer in business. The Russian suit has been modified over the years and are bought by other countries. The latest Russian suit has a new zipper arrangement which prevents the cosmonauts and astronauts from peeing on the rear tire of the launch pad transport bus for good luck on the walk out to the launch pad. Women currently throw a vial of piss on the tire for good luck.
