Very clever method of survival for last two ex-soldiers.
This was a hardback book checked out of the library over 10 years ago.

Well that made me laugh. Knew immediately to whom you were referring.
Funny about mud idea though because the woman buried the wounded male soldier to keep him safe until coast was clear.
I guess it’s obvious from my posts that I am into military inspired fiction - especially special ops stuff. In fact I just started reading “Delta-v” by Daniel Suarez.
