Hi! Hope you guys can help. Read this book a few years back, no more than 5 years though. The plot was basically this:
There is a government trying to mutate the y chromosome to create super soldiers for the US army. Something happens and the mutation virus thing becomes airborne and starts mutating every male in the area (and then the world) with a sort of rage type virus, where they become strong and kill everything in sight. The protagonist is at school when this happens, and then watches as her dad kills her mom at home. Society collapses, and she ends up in a group of badass women who kill the mutated men. Some of them are lesbians I believe. Eventually, the protagonist stumbles across some kind of secret messages I think? And ends up meeting with what appears to be the only unaffected man on the planet, and the only hope for humanity. I forget much of what happens after that, but I do remember that the mutated men wont go near him, and that some women get kidnapped and taken away and raped by the mutated men to create more of them or something. It was brutal.
The book was in english. Anyone know the title???
