My idea sometime in the future The British empire make a comeback and china ,u.s. Russia are smaller countries.
I don't want to writ the scenario why this happen but the main theme is a American is living in London a britsh Bobby weapon only exist as knives and stone and people still use horse again.so why riding around town on patrol he meets a American woman. he soon falls in love for her she is looking for a relative that disappeared she tells him he must not like America to become a britsh cop . he has reasons why he left I haven't figured this out.
I dont want a mad max judge Dredd theme dystopia nor a utopia gene Roddenberry theme where no conflict exist bit a future a theme where man is about to step into space and where you come from is no longer importasnt/

Execution is worth more than the idea. YOU have to love the idea enough to finish the story. The best idea in the world is worth nothing if it remains unwritten, and it remains worth little if the execution sucks.

Just seen your post. Am I right in thinking that there has been some sort of world conflict that has occurred before the start of your story which has resulted in the human race regressing technological to a pre-industrial revolution state like in the tv series Revolution?
