Favorite mobile games?

... because I need something interesting to do while waiting at the dentist's. I've played my share of match-three games, but over the years I've enjoyed the more unusual, even lyrical games such as Monument Valley (highly recommended! I once even talked to a guy who teaches game design, who told me this is considered in the industry to be a one of a kind), and the engrossing, though generically-named, Smash Hit. Can anyone recommend other interesting mobile games?

I really enjoy simple board games: Chess and Wordfeud. There's also Universal Paper clips, which is the ultimate time-waster game.

Yes, I've played Monument Valley. I haven't found a game that matches its simplicity and beauty, at least on iOS
