Proxima Centauri has another planet?

Tentative evidence suggests Proxima Centauri - the nearest star to Earth - might have another planet, this time a super earth:

Astronomers have discovered another candidate exoplanet orbiting our neighbor Proxima Centauri. A paper announcing these results was just published in the journal Science Advances. If confirmed, it will be the second exoplanet discovered to be orbiting the star.

If he is not talking about that star system in particular, that observation clearly puts the idea of alien life totally in perspective.

Even if we could get ship there , that planet may not be capable of supporting life given the nature of the Proxima star.
