J.G. Ballard not in the Featured Authors section?

I'm a newby here but it puzzles me why the author of such defining classics as The Drowned World and short collections like The Terminal Beach is conspicuous by his absence in the featured authors section?

I'm a newby here but it puzzles me why the author of such defining classics as The Drowned World and short collections like The Terminal Beach is conspicuous by his absence in the featured authors section?

I asked this about another author a while ago, and was told that the featured authors section is not based on editorial (i.e. admin) discretion, but on how many threads about that author have been posted. (I forget the threshold, something like four or six.) So if you want Ballard to be featured, I guess all you can do is start one or more threads about him. I'm not sure this one would count.
