Which comes first The Tamuli or The Elenium.

I have treated myself to a second hand copy of The Tamuli, by David Eddings for just a pound and then realised that there was another trilogy featuring Sparhawk, The Elenium. So which one is first or do I just read the one I got and ignore the other. I doubt if I'll find The Elenium for a pound. Thank you for any help.

The Elenium came first. You can read The Tamuli on its own you don't need to read The Elenium.

My introduction to Eddings was The Tamuli, I then picked up The Belgariad and The Malloreon before The Elenium.
