In around 1985, I remember as a kid reading 2000ad, a certain edition.
In this edition there was a one off short story about a person who could not gender identify, of like the way they looked.
In the strip. The person could go to a body reshaping place. You could pay to get in a machine and you would come out as you wanted, man / woman long legs, short legs, big breasts, or whatever you wanted,
The person in the strip tried to get attention this way but everyone knew it was engineered, in the end the person went back to its self, but had too many goes at changing and ended up as a person made up of all the different thing it had been.

Does anyone remember this one off cartoon.

Or have a copy of the edition or know were to start looking for it?

In the 1980's in the Daily Star newspaper there was a small 2000ad comic strip every weekday with a much larger (half to three quarters of a page) stand alone Judge Dredd story on Saturdays .
A couple of these featured body changing at walk in clinics.

One I particularly remember was a violent thug who was also very low intelligence, he dashed into one and opted for the look of a young blond guy, and then smugly went back on the street.
the Judges caught him immediately because he had got the new face on the back of his head!
