Would anyone happen to know the name of this book?

The book's plot is that a group of people find themselves in some sort of strange arena (apparently they are no longer on earth), where they are forced to fight each other to the death with primitive weapons.

But when they are killed, some force (aliens?) brings them back to life, completely healed no less, and then forces them to fight another death match. The cycle repeats and repeats, and repeats.


I'm sorry, I know that's not much information to go on, but that's all I have, other than the fact that even though it was a paperback it was about $40.

Nope. Don't know this one. However, if you're looking for other books with a theme of fighting with primitive weapons, you might want to try Battle Circle by Piers Anthony. It's an interesting trilogy set in a post holocaust earth.
