So i have been reading again the part where they find all the cultists in the swamp and i can not stop wondering if its an actual orgy or what did he ment on this part by "the mad cacophony of the orgy fortunately deadened." whas it really an orgy with sacrifises or did he ment that it was just a hot mess of unholy practices? I hope i can still find someone here i would love to hear diferent points of view

The orgy had begun to calm, when they heard the sound of the monster approaching them. They grew afraid, They froze when they saw it. The characters pursuing them froze. They saw the monster, They tried to turn around, but found they were unable to do this. They were afraid. They could not move, they watched in horror of the death of the orgy partioners.
