I just cant remember this book and the thing is I never finished it and now o wanna read it lol. From what I remember....A country has been taken over and the previous citizens enslaved. A woman is in the market place and ends up buying a slave...this man is apart of a resistant movement and intended to infiltrate thos woman's household as her father is a genral(I think). He works as their blacksmith i think and the two end up falling for each other which is a scandal her father suspects this and intends to get rid of him
