May / June 100 Word Anonymous Challenge Discussion Thread

In preparation for the new challenge, I am setting up this discussion thread. There was some talk on the previous thread ( last page ) about changing the format, so we can continue the discussion here.
I don't mind hosting, but I always like to ask if anyone else wants to give it a go. It doesn't take up much time, and we have a set of guidelines to help. So, if there are any volunteers, just let me know.

I have reached out to @Shyrka as the previous winner, and have not heard back. Last seen was April 12, so I hope everything is ok.

Despite my contact attempts, I have not heard back from Shyrka. In these awful times, I do hope he is well and just taking a break.
Our runner up, DannMcGrew, now has the honour of setting the upcoming challenge.
I will post the new 100 Word Anon as soon as I get the topic and genre.

Ach, sorry for the no show! I'm fine, I've been a bit out of the loop what with juggling work and home schooling/herding/fending off the offspring. Hopefully I'll have the mental energy for the challenges again soon!

Equinox: You have to make corrections at the beginning to really clear things up.

From the Top: Not all of us can be stars.

One Revolution to Another: What goes around, comes around.

No time like the present: It takes quite a bit of effort to obtain the highest quality.

Fixing the Problem: Facing up to a challenge may require sacrifices.

Seabiscuit: You can't always tell who's really in charge.

Johnny's time machine: Simple amusements can have unexpected consequences.
