Tom Cruise to film the next MI film...in space

NASA must need the money and publicity if it is doing this. And Elon Musk? Really?
I know it is the done thing to not be a fan of Little Tommy, but I want to see what he does with the Top Gun reboot/sequel before anything else.

It is a bit odd, but who other than Musk and/or NASA would be able to be involved in something like this? I think almost anything that gets people interested in space is good. Also, for some reason I said this was the new MI film, but it isn't according to the article - just a Tom Cruise film!

I thought the last MI film was excellent. I don't get the Tom Cruise hate and thought that was mostly down to the media. I've pretty much only heard good words from people who've worked with him, including from Simon Pegg when he first joined the MI franchise.

I've never seen Top Gun, so will probably check that out before the reboot is unleashed.

I wonder if insurers will let it happen.

My only niggle with Top Gun was that the "Russian" aircraft are American. They didn't try to get any from outside the US. I understand the logistics but it would have been nice. Okay... I have lots of other niggles with it as a film. It's a Tony Scott film so its a 2hr Rock Music video and it looks great.
