Hi film buffs,
I've tried to find this film (it may even be a TV show) that I would have seen in the late 70's early 80s (certainly no later than 84 and even that's probably too late).
I'm pretty sure it was a scary film, but all I can remember is two people in an american bar restaurant - one is saying the pellets in his food are 'capers' and the other one is saying 'they're not capers, they're rat turds.'
I used to think it was from Tobe Hooper's excellent TV minseries of Salem's Lot (possibly because there's an early scene with David Soul and Lew Ayres in a restaurant talking which I've conflated it with) but after seeing the two different cuts of the series/film, I know it's not.
Can anyone help? I can't offer any more info at all except it was the first time I'd ever heard of capers (and for years as a kid I thought he'd said 'capons').
