Upgrade (2018)

Just discovered this film last night on Netflix and I cannot recommend it more highly. It's exactly the sort of thing that should come to mind when you hear "Science Fiction Action Thriller." It's low budget, well acted, well directed and well written and above all, thought provoking

I vaguely remember Upgrade. I had to search my old posts for my review. It seems I thought it was good, and it reminded me of a Ted Chiang story. 7/10.

I don't believe I've seen this, which is odd if it was released in 2018 (I've changed thread title). I'll see if it is in my Netflix suggestions and add it to my list, thanks. There isn't very much new to watch at present.

Thanks, I enjoyed that. There were some interesting ideas, while still being thrilling and having plenty of action, and for once I didn't see the twists.
