Well, I think the first blow was when Steve Irwin was killed by the stingray... but let's be real; most of us watched his program to see if this was the week he was finally going to bite it after crossing the wrong dangerous/venomous animal anyway.

For my money, nothing beats "Seal attacks man with octopus"

The theory is that seals often hit octopi against rocks to kill them. With no rocks nearby, seems the seal decided to use a man's face instead.
