YA Fantasy with Environmentalism Recommendations

First of all, welcome to the Chrons! I know there is a Chrons member who writes exactly that... Let me see if I can figure out who it is.

EDIT: Aha, it was @HareBrain. HB, did you ever publish Earthwyrms? I remember reading an excerpt in the Critiques...

Not yet. (BTW, the one you commented on with the Lady in the Lake at the caravan park is the second in that series.)

I've been looking to read a good YA fantasy with the environment as a major theme. Any recommendations?

If you mean environmentalism or eco-activism (rather than just wildlife etc), I've not managed to find any myself -- and I asked some school librarians and a YA editor a while ago, without much success -- so I'll be interested to see if anything comes up in response to this thread.

Gotcha! Wow, I want to see how the two connect to each other now...

Hi,

EDIT - I have just read the forum rules (after I initally posted) so have removed self-publicity.
I think there are some out there, its just hard to find them amongst all the millions of books.
