Basic SF Library: Arkham Sampler symposium, 1949

Really interesting and it holds up surprisingly well.

I have never heard of S Fowler Wright or his novel The World Below.

That's one I've heard of, & heard of from long ago I think, but never read. Cover art not very enticing!

That is a wonderful booklet. I haven't read all the books mentioned but I was surprised by the number I had given the era this booklet was produced. And the price! Astounding Science Fiction was only twenty-five cents.
 
FYI: I believe Stephen Grendon was a pseudonym for August Derleth.
