This is a thread to tell about portrayals of the Joker, be they from film, TV, animation, or even alternate versions of the character from the comics, that you see as underrated.

Mine would be from the 2000s The Batman animated series. It's interesting how much more feral and animalistic they make him, and how Kevin Michael Richardson's voice is deeper than most portrayals of Mr. J, while still suiting the character.

The 1928 film The Man Who Laughs may have been the inspiration of the Joker . The act that placed this joker like character called Gwynplaine was Conrad Veidt . In make up h, even looks like the Joker , same kind smile too. The film was directed by Paul Leni >y also based on a novel by Victor Hugo ! :)
